I am thinking of making a presentation with slide show, sound, movie and burning it in businesscard size cd's.

Which app(s) would be good for doing it, and would it be  possible to make it run from the cd in Windows, Linux and 7/8/9/X?

I've done something similar using web designs. With the right coding you can do slide shows, movies, background sounds. I formated the disk as a windows compatible and it would work in ie 5.0 and up and most browsers. Since most people use some kind of browser this works well and being on the users computer it's fast. Simple if you can do web design. Of course you'll need other apps to create the graphics, sound, movies. I would use apples software to create it. In some older versions of claris works it can do presentations and they may have a viewer for mac and windows, i have a version of apple works that is pc compatible. Take your pick and go with what you have. Have fun and good luck.
