Well then, welcome to System 7 Today.  Have you any particular systems or experience with System 7?

yeah, i have an Apple ][e enhanced with six of seven slots filled; mouse, joystick, 2 super serial cards, color composite monitor, ImageWriter ][, an LC II with a MicroMac processor upgrade- 50/50 26M, 500M DeskStar, Apple Deluxe  monitor, 2 Zip drives, Apple CD, a Q660 A/V with Sonnet QuadDoubler processor, Radius 24Pro XP video card, 68M, 2.1G QFBSE, external QFBSE 3.2G, 2 Zip drives, 2 LaCie CDR's, Logitech Crodless mouse, Apple Extended keyboard and ViewSonic E651 monitor.

(taking a breath - whew). the LC and Q are running my much hacked 7.5.5X as i call it.

i couldn't do without these guys.

i also have a G3 blue& white running my much hacked OS9.ob9 - also hacked to the gills and i won't mention all the gizmos there.

i read about no mention of other system versions so i hope i'm not in dutch already :-) wait - they all play nice together!

"Crodless mouse?" that might kinda hurt. so make it a cordless mouse.

You might find Mac OS 7.6.1 more stable and feature rich, especially for the Quadra (it'll be a little slow on the LC).

i think the LC is going to remain as is. my 7.5.5 is rock solid; the Q at one point ran for a little over 5 years non-stop as a server and work horse without any real issues. when i finally ran norton i had a few bad mod dates ya know...

but not to mention i'm a tight wad!  i've already laid a DV400 to rest (bunch o' caps in main and video power supplies) and sold my iBook 300. cool machines but the book was so delicate. i had it on the road with me for about 4 years and sold it before i trashed the thing.

thanks for the advice though.

In over 3500 posts, nobody has ever used the underline bbcode, so I hijacked it for use in an still unreleased image-posting feature that I'm working on.  Seems you've discovered what it will look like when finished.

HTML doesn't work in the forums for some reason.  I'll try to work out the bugs in the future.  Still have lots of other stuff to do.

We don't have a full set of BBCode, just bold, italics, URL, and lists.
