It's good to find a place like this! I'm a big System 7 fan and keep a 68K Mac alongside my G4 for general use. I've also got some '030s that see occasional use and a Power Mac 6500 that's currently serving as my TV. The updates section has been particularly helpful - I didn't know System 7 could do AppleShare over TCP/IP until I came here, and that's a major relief after working around the absence of AppleTalk support OS X 10.4 for so long. I'm looking forward to learning some new System 7 tricks and sharing my experience.

Excuse my ignorance, but does that mean network a System 7 mac with a mac running OS 10.4?

Yes System 7 can share files with OS X 10.4. There is an excellent  tutorial in the Help Center.

the help section is correct  i can say this you can not print share with 10.2 but 10.4 works great.  i have a brother multi function printer attached to my g4 and can print and access my os 10.4 hard drive using a 7100 running os 7.6.1
