Hi All. I have since acquired an AAUI-15 transciver for my 7100/80. But...the next dilemma is that I have no browser for it. The files I have/need are on my 8500. Can a serial cable be used between them, almost in a Windows "Direct Cable Connection" method? The Help files were a bit vague on my 7100. Thanks!! JM |

Yes, it's called LocalTalk. Go to the AppleTalk menu and choose one of your serial ports on both machines. Plug the serial cable into each respective port, start file sharing, and connect with the Chooser.
