My name is Nathan from Fairbanks, Alaska. I just got my old Mac IIFX out of the garage and got it running again with OS 7.6.1. Still works Great. I even have the 1990 Macworld with the FX on the cover "The Fastest Mac Ever!". Quite the machine back then. I also run and still use another classic some old timers might remember the NeXT Cube running NeXTStep. Still works great. The OS is the same as OSX today. Mr. Jobs is a smart man, ahead of his time. Nice of you to join us Nathan. I had a IIfx and was always impressed with its capabilites. I gather that the IIfx has no become a big collectors item and ebay prices for it are soaring. System7Today is about getting good use out of older systems with the focus on OS 7.6.1. Please look around and enjoy. bill

Welcome Nathan, As a Ben Eielson HS graduate i know that there are times where sitting inside and using a Mac makes a good day.
