Mum just passed me her powerbook 145B and said "I want to get my emails on that!". Our family's from the waste-not-want-not school of thought. It's inspiring, so here I am finding out what system 7.5.5 will do. I also have a Performa 580CD down with the pixies in the shed at the bottom of the garden. I have OS8 on it, but from what people here say it seems due for a down-grade. I might need some help doing this, so will start a new thread. Happy Friday, Joe. |

Welcome to System 7 Today! Quote from: "geojoe" It's inspiring, so here I am finding out what system 7.5.5 will do. Mostly 7.6.1 actually... but you'll be able to do a lot with 7.5.5 too.

geojoe, Welcome. I am fairly new to the website also. I bought a PB 145B two days ago, although it has OS 7.1 I will watch your progress as you bring it online and maybe I can get some pointers. From what I have read you need to max out the RAM on the PB 145B. I think it maxs at 8mb. ronin
