Coming from the author of Hibernated (see thread here), this time he ventured into the interactive horror genre.

Quote from: The Storyline
Take on the role of novelist Thomas King and his wife Cora as they move into a remote Scottish manor house, just days before Christmas 1986. Seeking inspiration for his next book, Thomas begins to explore the history of Blackwood Manor, only to uncover a dark secret that dates back centuries to the days of the Great Scottish Witch Hunts.

Features:

- written in Infocom's advanced Z-machine format XZIP
- Three different endings, a bad, a neutral and a good ending.
- Released for many retro systems, including a 68k Macintosh version
- Download (for a free donation) from the official website (modern browser needed)
- A boxed release is due in early February, including lots of gimmicks and a SD card full of all versions of the game.

I have to say, I find it intriguing to get the physical copy, despite never being able to finish Hibernated. But I like Stefan Voigt's way of telling a story, so I may place an order for the physical version and have something nice on my board that reminds me every now and then about finishing it ;-)

Anyone else?

In case someone is interested, here's a screenshot of the 68k Mac version.

Yes, it's a text-based adventure. Not much to see there :-)
