Hey,
I've already jumped into the other forums, but I thought I'd back up and introduce myself.  Name's Rob E.  When my PB 1400 was stolen and eventually recovered without the modem card's dongle, I gave up on it, mostly.  With me too lazy to restore internet access, it got used less and less and eventually took up residence in the spare closet.  Last year we picked up an iMac G5, and as I've gotten more familiar with it, I've learned the joys of SSH access and remote desktop via VNC software.  I started thinking that a cheap laptop might give me the ability to use the the G5 from the living room and/or better yet, let my wife and I use the computer at the same time.  I thought, "Too bad I can't put that old Powerbook to work on that." I did a quick search, ended up on lowendmac, took a short hop to here and found that my old System 7 Powerbook may be exactly what I need.  Excellent.  I'm sure to pester y'all with lots of questions (and have already started) and will try and keep you all updated on my progress (or lack thereof) so future System 7 adopters can follow along.  Thanks for a great resource, Dan.  And it's good to meet you all.
