Thought I'd highlight this here. This is new 2022 software.

Quote
AppInfo is an extensible application to get information on other applications. It uses a plugin system to analyze an application's resource fork and detect various languages (e.g. REALBasic), frameworks (e.g. PowerPlant), engines (e.g. Macromedia Director), and copy protection schemes (e.g. Copyware Uniloc). It also detects 68k and PPC code fragments, and estimates if the 68k code is only to alert the user it is a PPC application.

Very cool to see new stuff coming out. I just downloaded it and will give it a try in a few.

What what what ... you're not satisfied with the news, you also want to download it ? :D

Managed to play around with it yesterday. It gives vers info and architecture type quite reliable. In terms of  languages or engines it's pretty limited at this stage, I only ever got it to acknowledge Metroworks Powerplant but never anything else. I figure this part is still in an early stage. I do hope Sidd will continue to work on it though!
