I agree, that'd be very nice. Like having and old-style 90's chat experience. Maybe we should try to find a time slot for that and meet up? Needs at least 4-5 people to be fun though :)

Anyone know of a usable System 7 IRC client?  I know I had lots of headaches back in the day; MUDs and MUSHes were no problem with Savatar or even ZTerm, but for IRC I needed to dial up the local mainframe and use a UNIX client.  So I was on board when Adam Hinkley let slip that he had a new BBS in development to replace the likes of FirstClass and NetFinder where anyone could run an internet server :)

You can thank yours truly for resumable file transfers in Hotline :)

For IRC, I use mostly Snak if I want to poke my head into several channels, if it's just the one, Joshua Stein has created a very impressive piece of software that even runs in System 6! Wallops.

I stick to the old fashioned IRCLE for irc on the mac, mostly due to sentimental reasons :)
