2 system 7-compatible web browsers that we haven't covered yet on this forum are on the macintosh garden. http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/netshark and http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/netmanage-websurfer. both are able to do a google search (as illustrated in the screenshots)

That's two very nice finds @17lifers! I haven't gotten around to give them a test yet, as I'm mostly on my 68k IIci. But just found out that at least NetShark is listed as 68k. Sounds like I'll have to download and try it :-)

Just got around installing NetShark on the IIci. I would have liked to post this from NetShark, but it's a lost cause - NetShark even only partially knows HTML3 and stuff like tables. I was unable to get it to communicate with servers, probably supports only HTTP 1.0 or something. According to the docs, it's from 1995. It's a good addition to the Mac Garden for historic preservation, but really not good for anything else. Netscape 2 beats it in features and speed.

These websites are both silly dogs for needing modern web browsers (I think it has to do with the website platforms being used) instead of just loading with simple http:

Netscape 4.x versions: https://sillydog.org/narchive/full4.php
Earlier Netscape vers: https://sillydog.org/narchive/full123.php

Maybe the second link may possibly have a few more early, missing Netscape web browser versions? ;)

And although this last one's already been shared, I'm thinking it may still hold a gem or two as well :) https://browsers.evolt.org/
