I've got an old LC III that one of my teachers gave me (she found it in storage and said that if it wasn't registered with the school's inventory, I could have it - and I grabbed it!). Anyways, I've been trying to find a good version of System 7 for the LC, but everything I've found is either too old (7.0) or won't extract (7.5.5). I've seen many sites link to the same hosted version of 7.1, but that link seems to be long gone. Anyone have a good link for 7.1? |

The reason for that is that 7.1 was never made "freeware" by Apple.

Well, I downloaded the 19 parts and now OS X is telling me that they're 'not recognized'?

Quote from: "redct" Well, I downloaded the 19 parts and now OS X is telling me that they're 'not recognized'? That's because Mac OS X doesn't know what those are. You need Mac OS 7/8/9 for those to be useful. You also need a floppy drive.
