i would like a zip drive for my 7600

most that i find on ebay are ata ide type.  

Yet the 7600 has a scsi bus.  

should i keep looking for a scsi or add a pci ide card?

You do not say internal or external. There are probably quite a few externals floating around if you keep looking.

If you can find it SCSI is much faster. For externals, make sure that you also get the power supply with it.  It is quite hefty.  I remember my daughter when yonge not knowing the difference an dtrying to run a zip off of a modem supply.  It melted real good.

I have iomega zip100 PLUS drive. This unit can be used in paralel port in PC and scsi port in mac.

A SCSI external shouldn't be hard to find, and if you just need external mass storage, consider Syquest, Bernoulli, Jaz, + other period-era solutions. Or, perhaps even an early SCSI CD writer! Easier to add a SCSI PCI board to a PC clone then an IDE board to a PowerMac.

May I know a bit more : this zip100 PLUS drive has the same connector plug at the back for both paralel port and scsi ? or you need a coverter to plug into scsi port ?
