Hello, I'm new here. I really like the System 7 interface as it is well designed, simple and clean. But in selecting which OS to use with my hardware, I find that it lacks compatibility with some apps I want to run. I was wondering if it's possible to make OS8 (or even OS9) look like OS7 in terms of menus, icons, and background graphics? I don't want to do any serious hacking or run an emulator. Thanks, David |

Kaleidoscope 1.8.2 which can be found here allows for the use of themes on the Mac OS. Beginning with Mac OS 8.5 the Appearance Control Panel allowed a person to select themes. Resedit use to have a repository of themes for use with Kaleidoscope and with the Appearance Control Panel. bill
