Hello,
I'm new here. I really like the System 7 interface as it is well designed, simple and clean.  But in selecting which OS to use with my hardware, I find that it lacks compatibility with some apps I want to run.  I was wondering if it's possible to make OS8 (or even OS9) look like OS7 in terms of menus, icons, and background graphics?  I don't want to do any serious hacking or run an emulator.

Thanks,
David

Kaleidoscope 1.8.2 which can be found here allows for the use of themes on the Mac OS. Beginning with Mac OS 8.5 the Appearance Control Panel allowed a person to select themes. Resedit use to have a repository of themes for use with Kaleidoscope and with the Appearance Control Panel.
