OK...So I'm proving I'm new with Macs. I found a video adapter and plugged in my monitor. Although the mouse and keyboard ports look like PS2 it sure isn't. As soon as I discovered this I remembered a long time ago one of the techs where I worked used a key combination to start his Mac. Soft power I think it's called. So cutting to the chase, does anyone know where I can find a mouse and keyboard? This has become a challenge for me to get this thing working. Thanks |

eBay and Craig's list are good choices. Those ports are called ADB. Just google "ADB Keyboard" and "ADB Mouse" and you'll find thousands of options. Soft power is the ability to turn the Mac on from the keyboard.
