I signed up because I picked up a few PB 1400's at a thrift store, and am running them on os 7.6.1. One is my frankestein for overclocking and hardware experiments, and the other (133MHz /w 32M RAM + Floppy + CD) is set up for general internet use with an old Wavelan card+iCab+Eudora. I had OS 8.6 on it, but it was too clunky and bloated for 32M RAM, so I switched to OS7 and now it is actually zippier than my Xubuntu-Linux 400MHz + 196M RAM PC laptop that was my general internet machine before! So... HI! |

Quote from: "aletheianalex" ... an old Wavelan card+iCab+Eudora.... I am running the same combo myself and it sure is nice. Try Wannabe too, and you will know how it feels to break the sound barrier  It works fine with S7T, LEM and such. When I hit a page where I need more than a text browser, I open the page in iCab from Wannabe's menu.
