This have helped me with Ebay, Google and when recharging/paying my prepaid mobilephone. The last one  wasn't possible at all before! Now it works!

-Launch iCab
-Click Tools(from the Finder Bar), open Filter Manager.
-Click download button
-The right page opens in your browser
-Download the filters you consider neat. I chose:
Google, adfilter, External JavaScript..., Sonic Purity's (Paypal,Kagi,Ebay)
-Unstuff the stuff, then go back to the Filter Manager and click import. Just browse  for the Filters and iCab installs those by itself. Nice.

Everything else of the filters are easy and kinda automatically nice, but PLEASE COMPLETELY UNTICK ADFILTER FIRST! Test if it helps you or not. It does not work if you do not choose it to, so no hurry. Arrange the filters in the Filter Manager, put specific ones up first and those that affect every site last. Make the Adfilter the very last one.

I've been just happy for having a decent browser, so haven't minded for the ugly font. Changing them seem to be bit tricky. I'll take a closer look  next week, as I'm pushing long hours at work till Monday. Any ideas for the fonts are welcome.

A quick fix that helps especially with Google: Edit-Preferences-Fonts/Language.  Change size to 14, Min size to 12. Now it's big and ugly! but easier to read, too.

The font looks nicer 1024x768 vs 832x624, also.

The ebay crash's a mystery. I haven't had that at all. The mac I'm mostly running now with 7.6.1 & testing this stuff is 7500/100 with Sonnet G3 366Mhz/1MB cache, 352 RAM. Are your specs close to it?

Here's the way I've configurated my iCab. I'm not including everything to keep the list short. If you want, I could e-mail you PICTS of my pref. forms. It could give you a starting point, hopefully this helps:

The Filter Manager (In this order):
-google,yahoo,paypal,kagi,ebay,(adfilter).

The Preferencies:
-contextual menus: submenus ALL. menu entries ALL.
-source display: iCab displays HTML source
-display: use colors defined by page, display ALL. show frames. page may change size
-images,IFrames: show images, background images. play gif animations ONCE. Show embedded frames.
-NO STYLE SHEETS!
-identity/settings: activate java, identity IE 5.5, execute all but jscript. Settings timeout for loops 10 sec. Enable Javascript debugger
-filter: choose ALL except hide toolbars, java connect
-identity/proxies: mozilla/4.5
-compatibility: uncheck ALL
