MacsBug is not only for programmers, as it can help one out of freezes & crashes in everyday computing.

I am not going to invent the wheel again, so read this helpful article:

a must have - especially if you knife everything in sight, repeatedly, like me. seems i can't keep my fingers outta the software see.

i've been running 6.5.3 for many years on my LC and Q660. i only recently quit waiting for the step spy code to be added

there are some useful third party add-ons out there, like a desktop widget to drop into debug and of course ColorMacsBug. my theory; even if i crash - it still looks like i want it to and it still looks good. huh?

a copy of DBugR, a control panel that places a widget on your desktop to drop into MacsBug or Color MacsBug?

MacsBug can also be hacked with ResEdit to display your choice of color.

search over atThe  MIT Hyperarchive . you'll find more in depth documentation in BBEdit format.

hitting a ? while in the debugger gives you some useful feedback.
