A friend copied some print drivers onto a CD-ROM under OS X (I think).  I tried to read the CD-ROM on a Mac 5500 with OS 7.6.1 but the machine would not recognize the disc.

I read some of the other posts on creating bootable discs.

Can I create an HFS image on a CD and then copy files to it? Or is there a CD format option?

This article from the Help area of the System7Today provides the information to create a readable CD in OS X for use with OS 7.6.
