that in these tests; your machine/system/protocols are subject to the speed capabilities of the host providing the "test" and that these include type of connection (dialup, dsl, cable, isdn, etc...). e.g.; if the testing host is somewhat remote to your physical location (or not), you are helplessly subject to the integrity of all electrical connections regardless of connection type (stated above), and i mean down to the integrity of each splice and terminal block between your machine and the host not to mention SHIELDING and the quality or wire eventually used. many of these tests are also promoted by sales depts. their aim - to lure you into buying from their offering of internet experience. let's get simple; dialup isp's offer 56k handling (flex, V90) but look carefully for the 56k light on your modem to illuminate. 50 - 50 chance. many of these tests are not unlike loudspeaker maunfacturers who claim to have 15" speakers and actually offer a 15" basket not a 15" cone - Bogus! a 15" basket can only contain a 12" cone and spider. a true 15" loudspeaker will be housed within an 18" basket. (peavey vs. jbl is one example of analogy here). buyer beware.

honestly no. i hadn't gone to this test site. just did though.very nice interface so i got 26 down. 63 up on my dialup. laughter accepted.
