Thanks for the feedback people. And truly, I do enjoy using the real macintosh instead of emulation.. but its a perfect site to get started on emulating, It has everything you need.. EVEN HYPERCARD!! I finally found it and it is available to download. Version 2.4.1 |

It is a risk to leave an old computer in the dust for a while, but an alternative is to open each Macintosh and reseat RAM and ROMs. It may be necessary to replace the battery and also clean the motherboard. Goodluck. |

Yeah, sorry I was still fixing up the page after the post and removed the home page. http://sites.google.com/site/appleemulationgroup And when I use Apple, I refer to every 'Apple' computer there is. IIe Macintosh PowerMac iMac etc. Those are all Apple Computers.. but they are not Apple IIgs, IIe alone. |

Hello, it's me.. Conner I am creating a website for everyone to gather emulation resources, and I am looking for someone to write an introduction to Apple Emulation on the front page.. The person who does will get their name BEFORE the article and name in the official Apple Emulation Group. Sorry, no money involved. |

Hardware / Macintosh Classic II

Thanks to 'Craig's list', I managed to find an old Macintosh. It's not that good, considering it's still black and white, but it works for me. I bought it for 10 bucks! It came with a 350MB SCSI disk, and maxed out RAM. (Which is 10MB.) Additionally, the owner had previously installed alot of sound editing tools, and programs, running in Mac OS 7.1. I bought it for 10 buck!! Seriously, everything with it too. Mouse, Keyboard, and a diskette holder. Open for discussion

Off Topic Discussion / First Mac, Evr !

I recently got an old mac from a friend for a couple of PSP parts. In trade for those, I got a wonderful PowerBook 3400. I think it's processor speed is 240 MHz. I currently have Mac OS 8.6 on it, plus, I own the Mac OS 8.6, OS 9.04 CDs. I am hoping to buy a Mac OS 7.6 CD so I can see what it is like. I just wanted to drop a note because I am new here and I recently got my first PowerBook. It only is my first Mac! |
