Hardware / Keyboard and Mouse for my 600/250
December 05, 2007, 03:49 |
OK...So I'm proving I'm new with Macs. I found a video adapter and plugged in my monitor. Although the mouse and keyboard ports look like PS2 it sure isn't. As soon as I discovered this I remembered a long time ago one of the techs where I worked used a key combination to start his Mac. Soft power I think it's called. So cutting to the chase, does anyone know where I can find a mouse and keyboard? This has become a challenge for me to get this thing working. Thanks |

I know my pc based systems since I'm MCSA certified but I am at the very beginning on the Mac. I probably will find myself once again taking notice of the time after working on my new toy and finding it to be 3AM on a work night. :-) I'm going to have fun. |

Hardware / Can I network my mac 6500/250 & laptop?

I was given an old Mac. Currently I'm waiting for an adapter for the video. I have a switch hooked to a cable modem and a wireless connection for my MS based laptop. I'd like to access files between them once I get the Mac working. My experience with Macs is zero. I did find an original CD with OS7.6.1 on it. I see that it is the preferred OS for this machine. |
