Hardware / Cool!!!!

Fantastic Dan. So let's look at this. You can capture DV Video on a FireWire card into 7.6.1, edit it with software that does the basic stuff, titles, transitions etc, and compress it down and upload it to the Internet. And this is on a 10 year old machine, with a ten year old OS! Fantastic, great job. Idiots who say these machines are useless.... |

Hardware / PB140 HDD?
October 03, 2007, 10:10 |
Hi guys Very brief yes or no question. Is the PB140 HDD 3.5" SCSI? If so, can you transplant in a 160MB LC575 SCSI HDD? This is probably a terrible question but your help and suggestions would be suggested. Cheers Blake |

New Member Welcome / Hey guys (and girls of course)

Hey everyone I'm Blake, I'm 14 from New Zealand, and I was a longtime Windows user, yet the first computer I used was Dad's PowerBook 140 in 1992! My grandparents had an LC575, (which I have since acquired from them) and I am in the process of acquiring a PB 140 again! Back to my roots, .Currently I have a 20" iMac Core 2 Duo (white, not the new "Panda" aluminium thing, bleh) and I am looking forward to contributing what I can to the forum! |
