3 Hardware / batteries

I've found that the Intelligent Battery utility works wonders, just picked up a "dead" PowerBook 520 for $10, re-formatted and installed 7.6, and ran the Intelligent Battery Recondition utility and now get over an hour from this "dead" system!

Hey!

Wow that's lots of stuff! I'm looking for the mostly-rare PCMCIA module for the PB 500 series, seen any?  Got one?  Also need a couple extra PB SCSI internal drives for spares.  If you have any of these things, would you accept a postage-paid box & static bags to ship back?

It was the 7.0 box, I've carried it from place to place through the years...amazing how helpful it has been!  I like the Read Me that comes on the first floppy...Its says ROCK SOLID.  That held true!

Hello!  I'm an old Mac person with lots of machines laying around.  Currently running are:

PowerBook 540c, OS 7.6.1
PowerBook 1400c/166, upgraded G3 333, 9.1
PowerBook 2400c/180, upgraded G3 266, 9.2

PowerBooks are my favorite, and I still have my System 7 in the retail box I bought it in!

7 Hardware / Moving data

Hi

I use a Memory Stick I found for super cheap and a PCMCIA adapter to move data from my PB 2400c and my PowerBook 1400c.  Easy and cheap!  And if I need to move things from my OS X machine, an inexpensive USB flash reader is an easy solution.
