Today is the first announcement of a major overhaul of something I've been working on for over a year and a half.

And it's done! Why don't you head on over and take a look.

Appreciate the response. Ugh...any suggestions for a compatible proxy?

Did you have some special proxy set up? I put in http://cern.ch at port 80, as I was unable to find anything concerning a HTTP proxy at CERN.

As for why? Well Mosaic 2.0.1 is faster than Netscape!

Thank you for the response. Both websites you listed there work for me too. I'll put up a mention of compatiblity issues with 2.0.1 being just too old to work.

In the next update, I'll have some basic pages lifted from the cellar of the internet, which can be used, or could be used to test browser functionality.

I find it odd because even my website is quite simple HTML wise but it doesn't work either.

I like it. Unfortunately I had too much instability, with out of memory errors (even after bumping the memory allocated to 1024KiB) and crashes, whereas Homer 0.94 keeps working.

I got IP Gateway figured out, but Mosaic still has the door open. It doesn't connect to any site or render it. If it does connect, it ... will do something like reply with Error 400 or "Server status OK".

I'm testing out Apple IP Gateway and information is very sparse.

It doesn't work at all unless I seed outside the range of my router. i.e. 192.168.0.2 -> 192.168.0.200 for the router, then 192.168.0.201 -> 192.168.0.253 for IP Gateway.

Does anybody else have this thing? Normally for MacIP gateways you always have to start a new subnet and everything goes through the gateway machine.

As part of testing, I found out that Mosaic 2.0.1 stopped loading webpages. Any kind. Even http://info.cern.ch goes nowhere, even on my Mac mini G4 with 9.2.2. Other browsers -- works fine. It appears I may have some more work to update: anybody else have this issue?
