Hardware / PB2400c Issues
January 13, 2007, 13:59 |
Thanks for the reminder, I have a 1400c and do use compact flash to move data at times with that and completely forgot that with the 2400c. That will allow me to print from my TiBook but I wanted to floppy so I could use it with my PB180 and my 7600/300. |

Hardware / PB2400c Issues
January 13, 2007, 01:45 |
I have a problem that I need help with. I bought a 2400c without a floppy drive and I can't get anything onto or off from the computer. I would prefer a floppy drive. I would like an original style but is there another kind that would work with that computer? |

Classifieds / WTB PB2400c Floppy Drive
January 13, 2007, 01:38 |
I am looking for a floppy drive and cable for a PowerBook 2400c. Is there another floppy drive that will work with the 2400c other than the original style? I know that the drive for the Duo's will not work, is there one that will fit that larger port on the back of the 2400c? |

Hardware / 2400c back in business :)

It has OS8.0 and I have the original cd. The only problem with using it without a floppy is that I can't get any data out of the computer after creating it. I checked with the PowerBook Guy and he doesn't have either the cable or the floppy drive. |

As always good with the bad. 1. I have a generic 7.6.1 2. The 2400c I bought off eBay is in excellent condition. The floppy drive doesn't have a cable and the cd drive came without a powercord. 3. It even had the original cd OS8.0. Does anyone have a floppy drive or cable for the 2400c? |

Hardware / Got my Powerbook 1400c today!!!

Really, I have opened up a few 100 Series PowerBooks. So let me get this straight. Do I swap hardware then load the driver? Will anything work without the driver? |

I have wanted to do that, but that is beyond my skill level. Not sure how I can get someone to do it for me. Doesn't the NuPower G3 need a driver also? |

I have a 1400 with a NuPower G3 233. It is fast. I just wish that it were in my 1400c but instead it is in my 1400cs. The 1400c is so much nicer. |

Mine is generic and installed onto all of my 1400s very well. Maybe I am in luck. |
