Hardware / Performa 6200CD Freezing randomly

My Performa 6200CD has a bad habit of "hard freezing" randomly, most of the time when downloading a file, sometimes when extracting a file, or sometimes when loading a game. It will lock up, and will respond to nothing except Ctrl-Command-Power. I downgraded from Mac OS 8.1 to System 7.6.1 and it still does this. Is there any way to diagnose the problem? |
