Welcome! I have a 630CD too, you can download the original software for it here: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macintosh-system-712-quadra-630-and-lc630 I recommend 7.5.5 or 7.6.1 for it if you can get at least 36mb of ram, it's much more functional. I have mine partitioned into three disks, with 7.1.2 on one, 7.6.1 and 8.1 on the others, just to get the full experience I use 7.6.1 the most.Have fun with your mac! |

Hi there, and welcome aboard. How are your adventures going? No, not the most active place, but I would challenge you to find a Windows 95 users forum with half the members ![]() I run OS 7.6 on a daily basis for writing, streaming music, communicating with Newton, light web browsing, dialing up BBS's and printing with an ImageWriter. All on a 33mhz 68k Performa The versatility of these machines and their operating systems is incredible, I hope you have a similar experience with yours.System 7 forever! |

I use a Performa 630CD with an Imagewriter II daily for writing, and light web surfing with WannaBe or iCab. It's a fantastic machine, one of my favorite Macs. It's running System 7.6.1 |
