hi all --- this powerbook duo 280c i have been stored away since i bought it in 1998 and havent used it since 2000-- the only that was wrong with it-- is that i did something to wipeout the entire operating system which at the time was either 7.5 or 7.6 ----the floppy drive that i have would not let me re---install the operating system that i still have on floppy disks I too have all the original parts and pieces that came with it ---even the broken floppy drive If interested ---i am asking $160 for all parts and pieces you pay shipping! |

HI ALL IM VAL48----AND I AM HERE LOOKING TO SEE IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO OWN A POWERBOOK DUO 280C-----I PURCHASED THIS GOURGEOUS LAPTOP ---IN 1998 AND I STOPPED USING IN 2000---- I DID SOMETHING WRONG THAT I ENDED UP WIPING OFF THE ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM WHICH I BELIEVE WAS 7.5 OR 7.6---ANYWAY BEFORE I STORED THIS AWAY THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH IT WAS NO OPERATING SYSTEM---- I GO AND GET MY FLOPPY DRIVE TO RE---INSTALL THE SYSTEM---- MY FLOPPY DRIVE WOULD NOT WORK------SO OVER THE YEARS I PUT THE DUO 280C AWAY TIL I REMEMBER TO BUY ANOTHER FLOPPY DRIVE------BUT NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT AGAIN---THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOU STORE THINGS I STILL HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS AND PLUGS THAT CAME WITH IT ----EVEN THE BROKEN FLOPPY DRIVE----AND THE ORIGINAL 7 OPERATING SYSTEM ON FLOPPY DISKS SO IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN BUYING THIS IM ASKING $160 FOR ALL AND YOU PAY SHIPPING! |
