I have 2 Macs running 7.6.1 on both.One is IIci w/h a
Carrerra 040 Card & 96 Megs of Ram.
The other is PowerBase running G4.
This is in a PowerLogix Z-Force card using OtherWorld
Computing Zif G4 (I used it originaly in an AIO G3).
There it was running at 466MHz. In PowerBase the best
setting I could manage is 420MHz/47.5 bus speed & L2
cache is 1Meg 2:1.
It for sure flies...

Hi,
Stuff-it 5.5 on Mac has 3 parts = StuffIt Engine™,StuffIt Engine™ PowerPlug (these 2 must be in 'Extensions'), the 3rd part, StuffIt Expander, can be anywhere (preferably on Desktop), where you can drop Items on it.
If you didn't get rid of all the parts before reinstalling it (and it looks like you were missing 1 of those 2 in the Extensions Folder),
then you were not installing all the parts you needed back...
Anyway, I'm glad you did get it working now.

Hi,
you can get a PowerLogix G3/900 & G3/1MGz for the PowerMac
73xx  -  96xx (and Clones).
The 900 is being discontinued (they're selling them off 'till they run out, but the G3/1MGz is still listed as current-available (US$199) on
OWC site.
Hope that it helps.

PS: I have - IIci, AIO/G3, PowerBase (w/h G3 upgrade), PowerCenter Pro (G3/500) and 2 iMacs. All my Computers are seriously Upgraded.
You can ask me anything about those.
I bought THE IIci ORIGINAL, NEW, for $6400 (in '81, this was w/h bussiness discount-and also this was in Canada)

Cheers, Star
