News & Announcements / Connecting Powerbook 180c and PM G4

Has anybody been able to resolve the issue with Leopard and system 7? Currently, I am not able to set up a working connection either way between my Powerbook 180c, running System 7.5.5, and my PM G4 with 10.5.7. When trying to connect from the G4 to the Powerbook with the help of ShareWay IP, I can see the G4 on the monitor of ShareWay and the Powerbook even appears in the Leopard-Finder, but only for a short time, then it disappears again. From System 7 to Leopard, I can access the G4 in the Chooser only as guest, and after having chosen one of the shares, the chooser crashes. In Tiger, at least the connection from System 7 to Tiger used to work flawlessly. Any help is appreciated. Nils |
