Hardware / Power Macintosh 7500 Ethernet Problems
March 07, 2009, 21:29 |
I just got a Power Mac 7500 with a PPC 604 upgrade in the mail yesterday. I've made this machine try to match up to our modern machines by giving it a DVI Monitor (Thanks to the Radeon 7000 Driver), and good bits of software. But my BASE-10T ethernet port doesn't light up when I plug in the cable (I'm using a wall adapter by Linksys, which used to work on my Beige G3) I even have TCP/IP set to Ethernet, and it won't work. What's wrong here? |

Hardware / WaveLAN on OS 7.6?
January 31, 2009, 21:44 |
I'm using the v. 6 driver on here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macos/4835 I'm incredibly confused. I've set it up, and it reads my card. But how do I search for signals? I have a PowerBook 1400c (G3 Upgraded) running OS 9.1, somewhat sluggishly. I'd like to upgrade this to System 7 (The irony in that, haha!) But until I find out how to use my WaveLAN card with it, I'm stuck ![]() A little help? |
